Air-Storm Vacuum Cleaner Review

No vacuum cleaner is perfect. Almost every vacuum cleaner has design flaws that create problems. Maybe the biggest problem is that, as the filter bag fills with dirt, there is less airflow and suction. This problem is even shown in bagless vacuums because the filters clog up as the container fills with dirt, dust, and pet hair.

hepa filter vacuum

The worst feature that most vacuum cleaners have that they have bags that eventually clog up and restrict air flow. All bags and filters are porous. All bags, cloth or paper, have tiny air holes that allow the air to flow through them. When there is a dirt particle larger than the air hole, the particle clogs the hoe and restricts the free flowing of air. Eventually the entire surface of the bag or filter is coated with this dust. The airflow is slowed dramatically, and that is why your vacuum cleaner loses suction as the bag or filter clogs up.

Hepa

That restricted air flow is what causes motors to overheat. The Air-Storm vacuum cleaner has an airflow system that constantly keeps the bag surface clean, allowing for constant airflow and no loss of suction. As the air is pulled into the bag chamber, the angle of the airflow actually blasts the back of the bag clean, allowing unrestricted air to reach the motor and flow out the exhaust. The Air-Storm vacuum cleaner casing is made out of a near indestructible resin material that will never warp when heated.

The metal motor in the Air-Storm is a pleasant surprise. Metal is more durable than plastic, and is a conductor of heat. As the heat is generated in the motor, it is dissipated away from the inside of the motor. This keeps the bearings from drying out. Metal motors are far more durable than plastic motors. Most vacuums made, and all that you buy in discount stores have plastic motors.

Remember that Hoover vacuum your grandmother had for 50 years? It lasted because it had a metal motor and metal parts. Most vacuum cleaners are no longer made as well.

The Air-Storm cleaning system also has two HEPA filters that prevent any dust from escaping the exhaust. One of the HEPA filters is optional, and isn't included in the standard package.

The Air-Storm tools have air holes drilled in the, called "venturi air vents" that allow for constant airflow at the tools. This is especially useful if your upholstery is coated with Scotchguard. If your tools shut of the airflow, you won't be able to pick up any dirt at the tool. Other vacuum cleaners also have similar air vents at the tools; Riccar, Tri-Star, and Carpet Pro also use some form of air vets at the tools.

The Air-Storm vacuum cleaner is American made in California, and it's the most well designed vacuum cleaner we have seen. My only complaint is that the Carpet tool, or power nozzle (as it is called) is from a manufacturer that has parts unavailable to most retailers. At ,895 retail, it's not cheap, but. The Air-Storm gets our recommendation.

I have seen the Air-Storm sold for less online, but a local dealer would be able to provide service far more easily than an internet seller. You always want to buy from an authorized dealer to guarantee warranty service will be provided.

Things to Consider When Buying a HEPA Vacuum Cleaner

The vacuum cleaner market in the USA is huge with over 2 billion dollars per year spent by consumers. Almost every household has a vacuum cleaner and many households have more than one. However, consumers need to give careful consideration to the kind of vacuum they buy, especially if they suffer from asthma or allergies. A vacuum with HEPA filtration will help remove allergens from the air and create a healthier environment for those in the household.

hepa air purifier

HEPA stands for High Efficiency Particulate Air and it is a particularly high level of air filtration. HEPA filtration has had longstanding use in the biomedical industry and (in conjunction with UV) helps to inhibit the spread of mold spores as well as airborne bacteria and viruses. It has also found practical uses in the aerospace, semiconductor, food, nuclear and pharmacological industries. HEPA filtration removes 99.97% of all particles in the air with a diameter of 0.3 microns or larger. In the case of a typical household this will include dust, pet dander, dust mite feces, pollens and other allergens. So a vacuum with HEPA filtration should exhaust much cleaner air than one without.

Hepa

However not all HEPA vacuum cleaners are created equal. Many vacuum cleaners advertise their HEPA filter feature but do little to ensure that the air sucked into the vacuum is passed through the filter. If a vacuum is not properly sealed it will allow leakage around the filter and/or leakage to the outside air prior to the filter. Some manufacturers, like Miele, provide a "sealed system" vacuum cleaner that ensures all of the air sucked into the machine is forced through the HEPA filter. This approach produces very high quality exhaust air from the vacuum. Tests have shown that sealed system vacuums typically produce better quality exhaust air than those that don't have a sealed system.

One can also find HEPA filtration in many vacuums certified as asthma and allergy friendly. For example, many of the Dyson vacuum cleaner models have certification from the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America. The Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America (in conjunction with Allergy Standards Limited) launched the Asthma and Allergy Friendly Certification Program in 2006. The certification involves independent testing in accredited laboratories and ensures that the certified product is suitable for those with asthma or allergies. In the case of Dyson all the accredited vacuums use HEPA filtration.

Before buying a HEPA capable vacuum it is also important to check the longevity of the filter and the cost of replacing it. The lifespan of some filters can be extended via filter washing but only certain kinds of HEPA filters are washable. Many HEPA filters simply have to be replaced, often every 6 to 12 months depending on the amount of vacuuming. Also some HEPA filters can be pricey so it is a good idea to check the costs for the specific filter that fits your machine. You don't want to have to buy expensive filters frequently.

If you have pets you may wish to use a HEPA filter that comes with activated carbon. These are available for some vacuum models but not for others. Activated carbon is usually made from basic charcoal but it is extremely porous and has an incredibly large surface area that helps it trap odors. Filters with activated carbon leave the air smelling clean after vacuuming.

How to Choose the Best Central Vacuum Cleaner

If you're looking for the best central vacuum cleaner, then you first need to understand what to look for. A central vacuum system isn't some clunky piece of equipment you have to drag from room to room. Instead, you use a small attachment that connects to an area in your walls. What you vacuum up is sent through a series of PVC pipes behind your walls and collected for convenient disposal. While most of these systems are fine, choosing the best central vacuum system can be a challenge.

hepa shop vac

Before starting the research for the best model, we need to look at the factors that determine which are the best. One of those factors is known as "waterlift." This term refers to the suction power of the unit. Obviously, if the system doesn't have enough suction then you're not going to get the results you want. Generally, if you have up to a 2500 square feet home, your central vacuum should have a "waterlift" capacity of 105 to 120 inches.

Hepa

Another critical factor in determining the best central vacuum system is the price. Although having this type of system installed in our homes can be convenient, it does come with a hefty price tag. For the materials alone, you should expect to be charged between 0 and 00. Installation costs are, of course, separate.

You also want to look at the other features of the system. For example, top central vacuum systems come with attachments and other accessories to help you clean a wide variety of surface areas easily. If the system doesn't include them, then they should at least be available for purchase. You also want to look for features such as HEPA filters which improve the air quality in your home.

Finally, you should always make sure the system you choose is covered with a warranty. Make sure you understand what the warranty covers and how long it lasts. So let's take a look at which systems could deserve the title of the "best central vacuum system"...

Hoover Central Vacuum S5604

This Hoover vacuum cleaner is a perfect example of everything we've talked about in terms of the best model. For example, the Hoover's waterlift rating is a whopping 136 inches. That gives you enough suction to clean a substantial sized home. According to the company, the system can clean up to 8,000 square feet. The unit also comes with a wide range of extras, including an installation kit, a connection kit (with two to choose from), and more. Plus, you can purchase additional accessories such as the VacPan which is useful if you have a large number of hardwood floors to clean.

The Hoover also comes with a five year warranty on the motor and a one year warranty on parts and labor. Finally, you have to consider the price. This central vacuum sells for just under 0 on the site and shipping is free.

Beam Serenity IQS

Another one of the best central vacuum systems on the market is the Beam Serenity from Electrolux. This product comes in two models. One has a waterlift capacity of 137 inches; the other can reach 140 inches.

The systems come with lots of choices, too. You can pick your own "Power Team" which refers to the hose and actual vacuum portion - the part you'll use to do all of your cleaning. HEPA filter systems are also available at an additional price. More than a dozen other accessories are also available for purchase, including extended hoses and pet grooming tools.

One drawback is that the warranty is a bit confusing. Part of the system is under warranty for as long as you own your home. Other parts have warranties of between 7 to 10 years.

NuTone Model VX1000

The NuTone VX1000 system has a water lift capacity of 130 inches which is sufficient to clean most homes. The product comes with a number of extras, too. For example, it comes with a six foot long power cord for the user's convenience. The system also has a light that senses with the bag is full and alerts you that it needs to be changed. It was also specially designed to be very quiet.

The power unit is covered by an 8 year warranty. Other accessories are available, including a power brush and tool kits for self-installation.

Best Lightweight Vacuum Cleaners For the Elderly

Not everyone may be able to handle a heavy vacuum cleaner. It's a good thing that most vacuum manufacturers nowadays are coming up with lighter versions of the standard vacuum. These small cleaners are the best options for people who can't otherwise handle large machines and equipment because of age and general disposition.

hepa filter air purifiers

Lightweight is great for the elderly and people suffering from certain medical conditions such as arthritis and osteoporosis. These vacuums often weigh less than ten pounds and won't break your back or do damage to your spine. They're easier to move around as the length of the handle is shorter and the motor is smaller and generally lighter. Some small vacuum cleaners even come without cords or bags that otherwise add more weight to the machine. So anyone can practically clean in less time as you can quite easily move from one area to another area without having to attach and detach plug from the electrical outlet. It definitely saves time and effort.

Hepa

Most of these lightweight vacuums come complete with accessories found on larger, heavier vacuum cleaners. If you're worried that this type of vacuum won't do the job well, worry no more as you'll find that lightweight vacuums can also reach high ceilings and tall cabinets to catch dirt and dust with the use of brush attachments and extension wands for hard to reach parts of the house. With crevice tools, you can clean around legs of chairs and bases of hard to move and heavy furniture. Some even come with rotating brushes and bare floor brush ideal for cleaning braided rugs and carpets.

Here are a few of the small vacuum cleaners available to buy in the market today:

Oreck Housekeeper Canister Vacuum weighs less than five pounds but has a powerful suction with a 5 foot flexible hose that can clean hard to reach places. It basically cleans high surfaces as well as sofas and floors. It also comes with a hypoallergenic dust bag ideal for people suffering from asthma and certain allergies. Sanitaire System Pro Hepa Canister Vacuum is a great choice if you're looking to buy a small vacuum that comes with HEPA filter. Just like most small vacuum cleaners, this product also has features ideal for easy and quick cleaning. Eureka 4700D Maxima Bagless Upright Vacuum is a full upright vacuum cleaner that is lightweight and easy to operate because of its general design, easy cord rewind and grip handle and dirt cup eliminating the need for constantly replacing disposable cleaner bags.

Why HEPA Filters Are an Important Part of Steam Vacuum Cleaners

Steam vacuum cleaners are machines that provide a unique combination of high-power cleaning, convenience, and eco-friendliness.

hepa filter

Today, many of the cleaning products and machinery used to tackle different tasks can be as harmful as the messes they are used to clean up. For example, chemical cleaners for removing gum can leave behind toxic traces harmful to food and people. These products can be harmful to breathe in or touch, especially to young children and those with asthma.

Hepa

At the commercial and industrial level, the need for safe but effective cleaning methods has become more important. Many new regulations have been set in place to ensure that companies keep their pollutant levels to a minimum, to ensure the safety of employees and customers. A failure to comply with these standards can lead to severe fines. It is not simply in the interests of the environment but it is also good business sense to invest in cleaning machines that are safe and eco-friendly.

Safe in More Ways than One

One of the main reasons why steam vacuum cleaners are used in cleaning industrial and commercial areas is because they take multiple measures to ensure safe and effective cleaning. For one thing, these systems clean with the power of steam alone. High steam temperatures up to 386°F are efficient in removing a host of stubborn stains and residues from hard surfaces, thus, doing away with any need for harmful chemical components.

Top steam vacuum cleaning systems also contain filtration systems that include a HEPA filter. The HEPA filter is used in many places as a way of ensuring contaminants do not make their way into the air environment. There are steam vacuum cleaning units available with filters trapping particles as small as 3 microns in size. This serves to remove a large number of allergens, germs and harmful particles while cleaning.

There are steam vacuum cleaners that use other filtration systems in addition to HEPA filters; these added systems include water filtration systems. By this process, dirt and allergens are deposited in water for easy, complete removal. This double purification process ensures that the air that is re-introduced into the environment is as germ and allergen free as possible. This is in marked contrast to many cleaning methods, which may re-introduce dangerous particles back into the environment through exhaust vents.

The Power of Water

One of the biggest advantages of using steam vacuum cleaners is that much of the cleaning is accomplished using nothing more than superheated water. Whether commercial steam cleaner machines or steam vac cleaners, these units use steam to loosen and dissolve dirt and debris. Sticky stains, hardened sedimentation and even old debris can be softened and removed completely, without leaving any residue behind. In this way, steam cleaner technology can eliminate many kinds of deposits without relying on harsh chemical cleaning agents in any way. The only major byproduct of these units is water, which is completely harmless.

For added cleaning power, steam cleaner operators can choose to add green, biodegradable solutions to the cleaning process. These solutions increase cleaning power and efficiency without affecting the safety of the user or the environment.

Steam vacuum cleaners and other steam cleaner systems also have the advantage of being able to sanitize as well as clean. Many conventional cleaning methods rely on one set of products for cleaning and another set of cleaning agents for sanitizing and disinfecting. It is possible to find steam vac cleaners or commercial steam cleaner systems that have a special technology designed to eliminate more than 99% of harmful germs and bacteria.

It is clear that these kinds of steam cleaning units, offering HEPA filtration, antibacterial technologies, and other features, are the ideal systems for tackling commercial cleaning applications in the most efficient, safe manner.

This vacuum can be purchased at most major retailers for under 0. It has been ergonomically designed so that it is easy to operate and maneuver around your home. It has a generous 35 foot cord and comes with an extension wand and stretch hose for those hard to reach places. This Bissell vacuum has dual cyclonic action and is perfect for use on bare floors, carpets, stairs, and furniture. There is a handy indicator light that tells you when you need to change the filter. This can be a bagless, upright pet vacuum that comes with an upholstery tool, crevice tool, pet turbobrush and a special animal hair lifter for removing stubborn hairs.

A bagless pet vacuum is convenient since you do not have to buy and change vacuum bags all of the time. The debris is collected into a clear container to help you see what you have collected and remove anything swept up accidentally. The cyclonic action not only creates a more powerful suction, it also helps keep the filters cleaner longer so performance does not suffer.

The Bissell vacuum cleaner uses a HEPA filter that traps 99.9% of allergens and pet dander. This pet vacuum utilizes special technology that grabs onto pet hair to loosen it so it is ready to be suctioned up. The turbobrush attracts animal hairs that makes it perfect to use on beds and furniture where your pets sit and sleep.

Bissell Lift Off

Is a more powerful pet vacuum that costs around 0. This is an upright vacuum cleaner which has a detachable canister so you can use it for hard to reach spaces and stairs. This pet vacuum has a powerful bristle brush for removing pet hair from carpets that can be turned off when cleaning bare floors. The canister can be taken off to reach places where your pets sleep. It can also be carried out to clean your car upholstery. It utilizes rotating brushes covered with rubber fingers that attract and grab pet hairs. This can be a bagless vacuum cleaner that incorporates a HEPA filter to cut down on allergens in your home.

If you have a pet in your home, you will get rid of pet hair and dander with a Bissell vacuum designed for removing pet hair. There is no need to let pet hairs build up and cover your furniture and clothing. Traditional vacuums are not all that great at removing pet hairs. To find the best results, you should shop for a pet vacuum that has special bristles for grabbing onto pet hairs and a motor that is powerful enough to pull the hairs from the bristles.

Pets also leave dander around your home which can trigger allergens in some people so choosing a vacuum with a HEPA filter is a good idea if you have pets.

Understanding Hepa Vacuum And Asbestos

Forty odd years ago no one had ever hears of a hepa vacuum cleaner that was made specifically for the purposes of getting rid of asbestos. Those days many construction workers would use asbestos to insulate many buildings. These included school buildings, houses and hospitals. Sadly, it was only discovered many years alter that this substance was very bad for people's health. It was found to be especially bad for the lungs. A variety of lung diseases not withstanding mesothelioma would be very harmful to people and in some cases even fatally so.

hepa filter

It was believed at the time that this was the best material to be used that would be fire resistant. It was also found to be very convenient when dealing with flooring, tiles, pipes and ceilings. The problem was that when the material was disturbed in any way the fibers would enter they air and eventually find their way into the lungs of human beings.

Hepa

Over exposure to this would lead to lung cancer, asbestosis and mesothelioma. Today there are certain buildings that still contain this material and the asbestosis is able to do damage. This is where there is a need for a vacuum cleaner that is able to suck up the particles.

Any place that has carpets that could come into contact with asbestosis should have one of these machines. They can suck up any particles of asbestosis that may be lying in the carpets. These filers are designed to be able to suck up the smallest particles.

Aside from this substance, the machine is able to suck up other harmful substances such as lead. Many buildings now have warnings of harmful substances in the environment. People who need to get rid of this will need a heavy-duty machine to do the job.

The hepa vacuum cleaner has unique technology that is able to suck up and retain these particles. This actually prevents the particles from being released back into the atmosphere. This is what sets them aside from other machines used for this purpose.

This kind of vacuum cleaner is great for those people who have asthma or allergies.

Suggested HEPA Bagless Vacuums:

Hoover U5725 900 TurboPower 6500 Windtunnel is an excellent bagless up-right Hoover vacuum w/ HEPA filter. This vacuum cleaner has a powerful 12 amp motor.

A HEPA filter is coated with Teflon and only needs to be changed every 3 years which saves you lots of money and time. For the life span of the vacuum cleaner, Hoover will change the belts (free).

Since it's bagless, there would not be any dusty changes of bag. The bonus hose and the hand-powered Turbine Tool are included with a set of attachments.

Hoover gives a 2 year labor and parts warranty. Lots of people who submitted a review agree that this cleaner is easy to handle and has powerful suction.

Another famous vacuum is the Panasonic HEPA Bagless Fold'N Go Vacuum. This cleaner has a folding handle for storage.

It has a 12 amp motor and weighs 17lbs. The accessories have 2 standard wands, a crevice tool and 11 foot stretch hose.

The vacuum cleaner automatically changes according to height of the carpet. Panasonic gives a 1 year warranty.

If you want a canister vacuum cleaner, look at the Shark Roadster Canister Vacuum. It shows 1 1/2 times the strength of a full sized vacuum w/ a 1300W motor.

The dirt cup has a huge capacity so there are no dusty changes to bags. It works on both carpets and hardwood. Cleaning stairs and upholstery is made easy w/ its handheld Air driven Turbo brush.

This is a portable and lightweight vacuum. Reviews appears to be mixed; it's either hated or loved. It seems most negative feedback revolve around the truth you should clean the filter every after each usage.

If you have allergies or asthma, a HEPA bagless vacuum cleaner is the way to go. A true HEPA filter eliminates all but.3 microns of particles. The advantage of being bagless is you don't have the expense or the hassle of changing bags.

HEPA canister vacuums allow easy transition from carpets to bare floors. Once placed in the center of a room, they're much easier to maneuver. HEPA canister vacuums have on-board tools, essential if you're going to do a cleaning.

Suction Problem - Troubleshooting on Vacuum Cleaners

The main purpose of a vacuum cleaner is to agitate fibers in a carpet and suck up any debris. There are six different reasons a vacuum can lose suction, a plugged vacuum hose, bad motor, full vacuum bag, or cracked or damage hoses. Purchasing a vacuum cleaner can be a costly expense while repairing the suction on the unit can be virtually free. Most suction loss problems on a vacuum can be easily fixed or remedied with common house hold tools and very little technical expertise.

hepa filter vacuum

If your vacuum losses suction, the first and easiest solution is to check the bag. If the vacuum cleaner bag is full suction will be greatly reduced and the unit will become ineffective. A vacuum cleaner works by passing air through the bag fibers leaving dirt and debris behind inside the bag. If the refuse bag becomes full, airflow is restricted, limiting the amount of air passing through the vacuum bag resulting in loss of suction. When replacing the vacuum bag always consult your owners manual to insure that the vacuum bag seals with the vacuum inlet hose. If your vacuum cleaner bag is not tightly sealed to the vacuum inlet hose you will decrease the air flow through the bag resulting in loss of suction.

Hepa

The second and sometimes most common reason for loss of suction on a vacuum is a plugged vacuum hose. If the hose becomes plugged, air flow will become restricted. To unplug a vacuum hose detach it from the machine and inspect the inside. If there is a restriction in the hose, remove it with your fingers and replace the hose onto the unit. If the hose is long and the debris is hard to get too, a broom handle or other long object can be passed through the hose to dislodge the debris. Most vacuum cleaners contain more that one suction hose, so make sure to check each one by process of elimination. Another area that can become easily plugged on a vacuum cleaner is under the lower base of the unit by the roller brush. Large debris can get caught in this area and restrict air flow to the hose.

If your vacuum refuse bag is not full and the suction hoses are not plugged the next thing to check is the condition of the hoses. Many hoses are made from plastic which can easily tear or crack. If your vacuum cleaner shows signs of wear or are cracked they need to be replaced. Even the smallest hole in a vacuum hose can leak enough air to greatly diminish the suction potential of your unit. Replace your vacuum cleaner parts with OEM parts from the original manufacturer to ensure the tightest fit.

Most vacuum cleaners contain filters. Filters are used as a last line of defense to remove dust and smaller debris particles before the air is recycled back into the environment. If vacuum cleaner filters become dirty or plugged they also can decrease the amount of air traveling through the unit. Some filters can be easily rinsed with water whereas others need to be replaced. It is important to check your owners manual before rinsing a vacuum filter.

The last and probably least common problem for a vacuum cleaner to loose suction is a bad or failing vacuum motor. Over time vacuum motors lose power due to worn carbon brushes or long term damage. A vacuum cleaners worst enemy is moisture. If water or moisture is sucked into the vacuum motor it will greatly diminish the amount of suction the unit has. Replacing a vac motor can be a costly and time consuming ordeal. In some cases, replacing a vacuum motor can outweigh the cost of buying a new vacuum. Vacuum suction is measured in water lift which can easily be measured by using a water lift gauge. If the water lift measured in inches, falls below half the original water lift specifications for the unit, it is time to replace your motor. Most vacuum cleaner repair shops carry this type of equipment and can easily tell you if it is time for a new vac motor.

Hoover Elite Rewind Upright Bagless U5507900 Vacuum Cleaner Review

The Hoover Elite Rewind Upright Bagless U5507900 is a bagless design vacuum cleaner with an E-Z Empty Bottom Release Dirt Cup and a lifetime HEPA filter. The 24' power cord is retractable which deletes the need to manually wind up the cord after each use. There are 7 height adjustments, headlight, and an air flow indicator that signals when the dirt cup is full and the filter needs to be cleaned. In addition, this model also includes an on-board tool kit that includes a long crevice wand, a combination dusting brush and upholstery tool and a deluxe stretch hose capable of a 9' extended release for cleaning hard-to-reach areas. Selling for under 0 dollars, this vacuum cleaner seems like a good value, especially with an included 1-year warranty.

hepa air purifier

The Hoover Elite Rewind Upright Bagless U5507900 is an impressive-looking machine with a strong-appearing design and a bold cherry-red color. The deluxe furniture guard is a generous wide black band that is attached across the front of the base. The guard is thick and protects baseboards and furniture from scratches. The tool set is included with the vacuum cleaner and stores nicely on the unit for easy access. In addition to the on-board tool kit, a powered pet hair removal tool is included and also stores on the handle. The powerful 12 amp vacuum motor and 15" widepath cleaning combined with the tool kit make this quite a good find at this price point. For the money, this is a fully featured vacuum cleaner with a lot of suction and a well-thought out design.

Hepa

The Hoover Elite Rewind is equipped with a powered pet hair tool that is really effective on pet hair, especially when it is compared to the equivalent Eureka Vacuum Cleaner. This machine is a better-made unit than those produced by Eureka, particularly Eureka's 4D Pet Fresh vacuum. The Hoover far surpasses the amount of suction provided to the attachment tools, including the pet hair tool, resulting in more hair, dander and other debris ending up in the dirt cup. The nice thing about this particular model of Hoover is that it also has a deluxe hose for 9' of extended reach cleaning. The extra hose length is wonderful for cleaning wall and ceiling fixtures, baseboards, under furniture and on stairs.

The only feature that is really lacking on the Hoover Elite Rewind is self-propulsion, which is a nice thing to have on heavier vacuum cleaners. At around 17 lbs, this machine isn't overly heavy, but it weighs enough that self-propulsion would make a difference if the operator had large amounts of carpeting to cover on a regular basis. One great thing about this unit that does save the operator time is the automatic rewind of the power cord, which does tend to be quite aggressive. It is recommended that caution be used while the cord rewinds due the rapid retreat of the power cord and the prongs at the end on the plug. Without care, it is possible to get walloped by the fast moving plug.

With a HEPA filter, 24' retractable cord, 9'deluxe stretch hose, powered pet hair tool, 15" widepath cleaning, bagless design and other helpful features, the Hoover Elite Rewind is a good value vacuum cleaner at a decent price. The 1-year warranty included with this Hoover unit and the fact that the machine has a washable filter and requires no bags makes this a really good deal for someone in the market for a new vacuum cleaner.
